I joined [then-Adobe CEO] Kevin Lynch on stage during his keynote address for 2011’s Adobe MAX at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. We debuted the Adobe Creative Suite’s Digital Publishing tools and I spoke about how Vanity Fair had worked with Adobe to test and refine the software’s functionality and empower experienced print designers to move their canvas into the digital realm.
Apple invited me to moderate an evening panel at their SoHo, New York, flagship store. The sell-out event, titled “Start Something New,” featured a host of creatives telling their stories with the help of Apple’s suite of products. Featuring Austin Mann, Jingyao Guo, Marcelo Gomes, Thayer Allyson Gowdy, and Maren Patton.
I participated in the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity panel titled “Advertising Meets Digital Publishing: The Hot Issue,” hosted by Adobe‘s then-CTO, Kevin Lynch. I was joined by John Battelle (Federated Media), Steve Simpson (Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy & Mather), and Christian Haas (Goodby, Silverstein & Partners).
